Not at all! The design has grips that keep them from shifting. I’ve had no issues with slipping, even when getting in and out of the car often.

Does anyone know if the M performance mats fit other BMW models? I have a regular 3 Series, and I’m curious!

They do not fit all models, unfortunately. Best to stick with M cars for the ideal fit.

I’d say they fit seamlessly in the M competition models. If you’re on the border of fitment, you might need to trim them a bit.
