Looking for a BMW Fuse Box Diagram - Any Help?

So, just to clarify, if I have constant electrical issues, should I be looking at the fuses first before checking wiring?

Definitely start with the fuses! They can be the simplest and cheapest fix, which is always a plus when troubleshooting.

You guys make it sound like a science experiment! What’s next, measuring voltage levels with a beaker? :joy: But seriously, I appreciate all the tips!

Haha, @jenniferallen, totally! If only it came with an instruction manual! In all seriousness, I hope these tips help you pinpoint any electrical gremlins soon.

Hey everyone! I’m looking for a BMW fuse box diagram for my E90. I want to add some custom accessories, but I need to know what I’m working with first. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi kelly49! I found a great diagram on the BMW forums. It shows all the fuses and their functions clearly. Let me know if you want me to share the link!

For upgrades, consider an aftermarket fuse box! They often come with better fuses and even space for additional circuits. Just make sure they follow safety standards!

I agree with marcus76! I used an aftermarket option for my 328i, and it really helped with wiring up extra lights. Just keep in mind to check the amperage ratings.

Absolutely! Safety should be the main concern. My BMW actually had a wiring short due to a bad fuse mod. I’ll never cut corners again!

What mods are you thinking of adding, kelly49? Maybe I can help you figure out the best way to wire them into your fuse box.

Yeah, kelly49, some mods can be a bit tricky! Are you thinking of something simple like extra lights, or something more complex?

I’m leaning towards some LED lights and maybe a dual USB charger. Nothing too wild!
