I recently noticed that my seat belt isn’t retracting properly, and it’s become quite a hassle. I can pull it out, but it just stays there, and I have to manually push it back in. It’s especially annoying when I’m trying to buckle up and the seat belt gets stuck halfway.
Does anyone have advice on how to troubleshoot this issue? Here are a few things I’ve already checked:
Alignment: I made sure there’s nothing blocking the path of the seat belt.
Belt Rerouting: I examined if it is rerouted correctly through the guide loop.
Inspecting for Damage: I looked for any tears or fraying in the belt itself.
I’m hoping this is something I can fix at home and don’t really want to take it to a shop just yet. If you’ve faced something similar or have any DIY tips that worked for you, please share! Thanks!
