I’ve tried fuel additives and felt they helped! They can clean the injectors and keep sediment at bay. Worth a shot!

Totally! A lack of fuel can sometimes cause the fuel pump to work harder. It’s a good idea to keep the tank at least a quarter full to avoid damage.

Don’t you think it’s just a matter of time before BMW issues a recall for these drivetrain issues? I feel like it’s a flaw in the design if low fuel leads to such complications. What do others think?

I think the issues are often overstated, @emma78. BMWs are performance cars, and that means tighter tolerances. They require more attention to detail with maintenance. It’s our responsibility too!
