Anyone Tried the Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3? Looking for Reviews!

I’ve been researching the Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 tires and I’m curious to hear from anyone who has experience with them.

Key Points of Interest:

  • Performance in Different Conditions: How do they handle in snow versus dry conditions?
  • Wear and Longevity: Have they shown good wear patterns? How long did they last for you?
  • Comfort and Noise Levels: Are these tires quiet compared to others you’ve used?
  • Comparison with Other Brands: How do they stack up against competitors like Michelin or Continental?

I’m considering purchasing these tires but would love some real-world feedback before making a decision. Anyone have suggestions or insights to share? Thanks!

I recently put the Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 on my sedan, and I’ve been impressed overall! In light snow, they handled well, and the grip on wet roads is great too!

That’s good to hear! How do they perform on ice specifically? I’m a bit worried about that.

I’ve had them for two winters now. Ice traction is decent, but I still prefer dedicated winter tires for really icy conditions. They’re good for everyday driving, though.

That makes sense. I wonder how they compare to all-season tires? Anyone made that switch?

Anyone else feeling like winter tires are just a marketing gimmick? I mean, how much difference can they really make?

Haha, I used to think that too! But after trying the Vector 4Seasons, I get it now. It’s night and day in winter weather!

How do they cope with slush? I find that can be a real challenge for hybrid tires like these.

Great question, stephen! In slushy conditions, the Vector Gen-3 has been surprisingly effective. I didn’t feel like I was hydroplaning, which is a win for me.

I haven’t tried the Gen-3 but I’ve had the Gen-2 and loved them! Good to see the improvements with the new model. Anyone tried them in deep snow?

I’ve taken them through a few inches of deep snow, and they did surprisingly well! I wouldn’t push it too much more, though.

For versatile conditions, I think they are worth it, but for extreme winter sports, I might still opt for a dedicated winter tire. Just my two cents!

I’ve also had the Gen-3s for over a year. They wear evenly, which is something I didn’t get with my previous all-seasons. I feel like they last longer than other brands I’ve tried, especially in harsh conditions.

That’s a game-changer! I must admit, I was skeptical about all-season tires before reading this. Have you done any off-roading with them? How do they hold up?

Not off-road, but I drove through a lot of heavy rain and snow. They performed surprisingly well! Tread wear seems better than my previous all-seasons. Love how versatile they are without compromising safety.

Actually, they’re quieter than I thought they’d be. I always feared that all-seasons might be loud, but these have been quite pleasant! Overall, much better than my last set of tires.

Interesting! I wonder how they perform on highways. Any notable differences at higher speeds with tread wear?

None that I’ve experienced! I think the quality is top-notch. It’s important to check for recalls or issues online, but Goodyear seems reliable with these. Fingers crossed for a smooth ride!

I’ve been using the Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 for about six months now. The handling is quite impressive, especially in dry conditions. You can really feel the grip when cornering! Overall, I find the ride comfort to be very pleasant. Definitely recommend giving them a try!

Thanks for the feedback, andrew13! I’m curious about the noise levels. Are they relatively quiet compared to other all-season tires?
